Comments:

With its large capacity, low operating temperature and really good data transfer speed Hitachi Deskstar T7K250 – 160GB Hard Drive works well for me. It is the quietest drive I have seen. Support for NCQ, is the most attractive feature of the drive. NCQ speeds up the transfer of data between the hard drive and CPU, provided your motherboard or SATA controller card supports the technology. The idea is that the commands that are sent by the processor to the hard drive for data get queued up in a logical order to enable the drive to respond as quickly as possible. The hard drive is very reliable and ideal for video recording and business computing.
