The drive has a solid design and comes with a zippered, hard carrying case making it easily portable. It has a dimension of 5.68 inches by 3.5 inches by 0.83 in inch (LWH) and weighs only 0.6 ponds. Like the other Western Digital Passport, the 160GB black version comes with WD Sync software, which includes 128-bit AES encryption software. Its is best coupled with a laptop, and best suited for the people who want to take their work home but does not want to carry the laptop.

It’s a bus-powered drive and hence a single cable is for both data and power. Setting the drive is very simple just plug in the drive to your PC or Laptop and it is up and running.

ith its quick read and write speed I would recommend the Western Digital Passport USB Portable Hard Drive who need document backup. I use it to carry my presentations and other important documents. It’s small enough to fit anywhere in your luggage. With its low price the drive lets you take a lot of data on the road. It is best suited for the music lovers as it can hold all of your music collection.
