XiMeta NetDisk Hard Drive Enclosure
February 5, 2008 – 9:10 amThe XiMeta NetDisk Enclosure is a single drive Ethernet/USB2.0 combination enclosure that allows you to use the internal hard drive of your choice. It includes advanced NDAS technology for a central, simple and secure network storage which does not require any server or IP configuration. You need to just install your custom hard drive and software and connect the NDAS unit into a wireless network (LAN) switch. Then install the driver software and you can use it as a local disk drive on each specified computer. You no more have to rely on a server for all your central storage needs.
The unit is unseen and secure from external hackers since NDAS Enclosures does not require any TCP/IP settings. It also includes Symantec Backup Software for added security.
